This mob has a history of opening and closing businesses dating back to 2006.

My wife and I were unfortunate to be duped by the crooked charms of the infamous Manj Sanghera, when we were looking to buy a bi-fold door for our new extension. He is a very charming and assertive man who made us feel very comfortable with purchasing our doors from him. Once we had paid the £1980 deposit which he seemed extremely desperate to have paid all the charms and promises of a 4 week turn around soon vanished. I actually paid £400 pounds extra to have the door manufactured and fitted within 4 weeks.

However, upon payment of the deposit I was left with making phone calls every day to have a surveyor come out and measure up but no surveyor every turned up and our calls to Manj Sanghera went unanswered. When once he answered his phone all I can describe as a young boy answered the phone and asked us to call the production manager Imran.

After my first conversation with this Imran who I can only describe as being extremely rude and very badly spoken (English it appears is not his first language), I was fearful that I may never see any doors and my deposit was probably gone for good. Almost each time I spoke to Imran when I could eventually get through to him I was given lie after lie. However, when I pointed out to him that he was contradicting what he had told me previously he would then begin to get aggressive shouting in a high pitched tone.

Me and my wife then during our numerous calls to the factory spoke to someone called Sukhi who was very helpful however, during the course of our conversation it became apparent that she was just a buffer zone to prevent us getting through to Imran or Manj and she was also a part of this crook network.

Calling every day we were being passed from pillar to post until we saw a review on trust pilot about the company going into liquidation. We tried to visit the Hounslow showroom but it has been shut down, we spoke to the shops on the parade who told us we weren't the only ones looking for our money back as there has been a regular flow off irate customers wanting to know when they were going to get their money or doors.

We tried to request a refund on many occasions but were told the company had gone into liquidation and we wouldn't be receiving a penny back.

We couldn't believe this had happened to us so I took it upon myself to do further checks and I came across these reviews on trust pilot, to which I also added my issues/concerns however the comments have all been removed.

Not exactly sure what set of criteria Trust pilot work to because all of the legitimate concerns and issues of aggrieved customers have been removed from the Trust Pilot website. How can a website purporting to highlight genuine views of real customers behave in such a manner, which leads me to believe that MWG/Manj Sanghera must be paying to have these comments removed.

http://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/londonaluminiumsystems.co.uk

I have also come across these online:

http://www.yelp.co.uk/biz/bespoke-bifold-door-systems-Hounslow

http://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/mwgaas.co.uk

Now the new website:

http://bespokebifolddoorsystems.co.uk/

One of his new companies Be Spoke Bi-Fold door Systems advertises that they supply Schueco products, now I have spoken to Schueco to ask if this was true because I had heard a rumour that Schueco had stopped supplying Manj with their products and sadly they weren’t surprised by what I told them, in fact they told me that he had a company with a gentleman called Phil, whom Manj Sanghera defrauded recently by ripping off 50-70 of his customers from the The Bi Folding Door Factory Limited.

Before the comments were removed from Trust Pilot I contacted one of these customers and he/she told me that Manj had called all the customers and said Phil has run off with all the deposits that were paid. Manj said the doors were made but if they wanted them then we would need to pay MWG AAS the fabrication costs to have the doors delivered and fitted.

Later that evening this same customer received an email from Phil, saying not to pay Manj any monies. He explained what he had done and that he was no longer a part of the company. In support of this Scheuco, a multi-million pound company have confirmed that Phil is an innocent party and when the customer went back to Manj to let him know his games weren't going to work he stopped answering the phone.

Sadly stealing and defrauding innocent people is nothing new to Manj Sanghera, this man has a proven track record for fraud and theft and has served time in prison for this. Please view the links below to his criminal past.

In 2003 he was imprisoned for fraud:

http://www.thefreelibrary.com/IN+THE+COURTS%3A+Man+in+cheque+offence+jailed.-a0106106872

Again he was sent to prison for fraud:

http://www.thefreelibrary.com/in+the+courts%3a+thefts+man+gets+five+months.-a071538786

Now I am no legal expert but I'm sure someone with a criminal record is not able to hold the post of a company director or obtain banking facilities when that person in the past has been convicted of credit card fraud. Would be great if someone could clarify this point.

I urge anyone who has any other information on him to come forward, we need to see him and his team of crooks put away.

I found a review where they applied for liquidation before his mum passed away. Any Trading after that were illegal.

Furthermore, has anyone after this date paid any monies, I see someone put a review up saying Imran Called/Emailed them offering to have their doors delivered and fitted. This unfortunate customer did just that and no doors turned up. DAYLIGHT ROBBERY!

Again we require this info to prove they have been trading whilst insolvent. I have tried to contact the lady who posted this review.

I also urge any historic customers to come forward from December 2011, and January, February 2012 when he last declared his companies bankrupt.

If you have any information please post it on to the Blog and let’s expose this low heinous thieving low life criminal.

  1. An order was placed with MWG Aluminium Architectural Systems in Coventry in September 2013. I paid a 50% deposit and was told the turnaround for the bi-fold doors was 4 weeks.
I received no door, refund or apology! MWG AAS is now in liquidation!

  2. Can you believe this guy!!!
Manj Sanghera has now opened up another company, he has rebranded the London Aluminium Systems showroom as ALUMINIUM AND UPVC SOLUTIONS.
Very clever, so now he has a web based company called bespoke bifold door systems trading from here and a showroom called aluminium and upvc solutions.
    Another scam in the making.
The good thing is I will make sure I am at this showroom every day to get my money back!

  3. Hi, I also had a bad experience of this company. I ordered BiFold doors in Dec 2011 paying a 50% deposit. I was served by Manj himself, and prmoised delivery in eight weeks. After a string of broken promises, incorrectly manufactured items and partial delivery. I eventually got my 50% deposit back in Dec 2012. I was lucky I had paid via Credit card company and got a refund under section 75

  4. Thank you very much for publishing such a detailed account of the level of fraud we are dealing with.

I also had a similar experience. I went in to the London Aluminium Systems showroom and placed an order for bifold doors with Jat Singh - apparently Manj's relative - back in April 2013. We had scheduled delivery for August 2013 which was slipped. I made numerous attempts to get a revised delivery date confirmed. Due to increasingly implausible excuses for non-delivery, I proceeded to do some research on the company. Online customer reviews, other suppliers/peers in the industry and even Schueco UK LTD all said the same thing – ‘do not do business with this company’. Schueco UK stated they are in effect running a sort of ‘Ponzi Scheme’ whereby they promise delivery in 6 – 8 weeks, and then deliver after 20+ weeks, if at all (and then often with faulty equipment), effectively using clients’ deposits as either working capital or profit. Schueco UK told me they had stepped in to help resolve delivery to several customers, one of whom received product 9 months late.

I'm really kicking myself as something in my gut told me things were not kosher, but they had a retail store which appeared legitimate in Hounslow and so I decided to take the risk due to their very attractive price.

Any advice on how to get my sizable deposit back - of course paid via bank transfer?

I really should publish Manj's increasingly loopy emails to me here...

  5. Thanks for publishing yur detailed account - we were also victims of Manjinder Sanghera when he ran the Bi Folding Door Factory Limited. They of course went into liquidation after we were conned out of £3630 for some Bi Folding Doors (also paying more for quick installation as we were getting married and needed them fitted to secure our house before going on honeymoon).

Needless to say they didn't arrive, Shueco confirmed they were never ordered and the company went into liquidation.

I have filed a report of our case backed up with all the written evidence we can and we're hoping this may result in a request for disqualification from futre directorship, but I understand they need lots of evidence for this. Has anyone else spoken to the liquidators to provide evidence? They were very sympathetic to the situation when I spoke to them...

  6. I had the same issues when I placed an order back in Jan. 2013 and paid £14k deposit. 6 months later and after visiting his showroom in Coventry I launched legal proceedings. Same issues as others with calls not being taken. Weeks before the hearing I got all my windows and doors from Synseal, their manufacturer. It was a long and difficult road. I now have problems with the Synseal windows and manufactures wont help ! I was still one of the lucky ones.

  9. We bought bi-fold doors through a 3rd party back in 2012 - the doors were delivered 4 months late and then when they were installed we discovered they were faulty - someone from MWG came out and spent a day trying to adjust them to fit ... would have been a miracle as they were different sizes! In then end they admitted they were faulty and said they would replace them ... that was last March (2013) - they told me they had them and were waiting to deliver, then that someone else had taken them .... blar blar blar, excuses excuses excuses ... then went into liquidation. I have doors that won't open ... do not really doors! I'm astounded that they can continue to pop up in different guises time after time!

  14. Hello

As you can see above I have made comments and then deleted them again - always as a result of threats to take legal action by Bespoke Bifold Door Systems.

I did get my doors. They are installed. Work properly and look good.

My issue was that the contract said that supply would be in four weeks and it took 12 and an awful lot of complaining by me. And I visited their factory in Coventry.

I felt I had to hassle and threaten with legal action in order to get my doors. They were very late and I never received an apology.

I also never received warranty paperwork and I had to go direct to Reynaers to get a replacement door clip.

I was luckier than many who have written here
